Scattered thunderstorms will push into the area during the overnight hours. Heaviest rain will fall in Georgia. The main threat from these storms is the copious amounts of lightning. A severe storm north of the FL/GA boundary is still not out of the question. Winds would be the severe factor- not hail or tornadoes. The majority of the rain will be gone by 9 am. Dry, cooler conditions will push in behind the frontal boundary, for the majority of the week.
