As of now, there is a line of thunderstorms, that stretches from Brunswick to Folkston and over towards Live Oak. The line is pushing off towards the east and should arrive within Jacksonville proper within the next several hours. Hail, damaging winds, cloud-to-ground lighting, and heavy rainfall are the main threats from these storms. The current thunderstorm in Nassau county by far appears the strongest. Hail with a diameter of 2.00 inches, and rain falling at a rate of 3 inches an hour is currently being experienced in this area.
