Christmases in the recent past have been warm with temperatures either at or above normal levels. Normally the low temperature starts off in the lower 40s and the high reaches the mid 60s. You have to go back to 2013 to find temperatures that were far below normal. The warmest Christmas Day ever on record was back in 2015, when the temperature reached 82 degrees. It's quite the difference from 1983 when the coldest Christmas Day high only reached 30 degrees.
