TPC Graced With Decent Weather In March

The Tour Players Championship only moved back to March in 2019. For several years, the tournament took place during the month of May but was moved to realignment of the tournaments. Since the move, the event has been graced with mostly beautiful weather. An average day during the tournament week will start in the upper 40s and reach the mid-70s during the afternoon.

Temperatures and the weather pattern could vary depending on the jet stream in the eastern third of the nation, as the Northern Hemisphere transitions from winter to spring. Depending on what feature is dominating the weather, the Jacksonville-area could see record highs in the lower 90s during any given Players week or temperatures in the 30s for lows- there is quite the spread in what the area experiences.

Since the move in 2019, the TPC has mostly experienced sunny days with temperatures in the 80s. So far the biggest impact from Mother Nature has been the pollen. The tournament is held when pollen levels are usually at their highest.
